Pater: A wedding of firsts

Avocado Juniors, a wedding is such an exciting, happy, emotional and wonderful day, particularly when it's a wedding of firsts, like your Cousin Toronto's big day:  Mater's oldest niece is the first of the next generation of children to get wed; this is the first time you are attending a wedding; and the first time you are getting to march down the aisle!!!

So yes, a very happy day.  But also a very emotional one!  AJ1, have you noticed recently how Mater has taken to hugging you more, and for longer, than usual?  Do you think it may have something to do with her struggling to reconcile her memories of the little girl she saw grow up, with the young lady about to be wed?  Suffice to say, this is the reason Pater is penning this post - he can't risk Mater short circuiting the keyboard as she views the photos and the tears come streaming down!!!
Thankfully, on the day itself a severe dose of beta blockers prevented Mater's mascara from running, and so our only concern was if, the promise of Lego (for AJ2) and a life living with the local raccoon family (for AJ3), would last through family photos...
...and then the march itself (sorry AJ4 that you got benched; we had to focus all our energies on AJ3 not going rogue)...
Thankfully the answer to both was yes, and so with your jobs done (and the Lego Promise/Raccoon Threat still hovering over AJ2&3), we could enjoy the best wedding ever!
Mazel tov to the new Mr and Mrs Cousin Toronto from the Avocado Hasses!!!!
