Mater: AJ4, meet the garden. The garden, meet AJ4.

AJ1 asked Mater recently if Pater loves his garden more than his Avocado Juniors.  With all the hours Pater invests in it, with mowing, seeding and planting, Mater was hard put to answer the question truthfully.  Certainly, during that short period between the last snows and the first heatwave, when all was green at Chez Hass, woe betide anyone who stepped carelessly on the perfectly manicured, lush grass!

But this year, it wasn't only Pater who got a lot of enjoyment from our garden.  Like his fellow Avocado Juniors, who flourish under the sun and blue skies of Toronto like the proverbial weed (not that any exist in our garden!!!), AJ4 had a terrific first summer outside in the backyard...
...dry or wet...
...not that Mater could enjoy herself.  Not with some of AJ4's hair-raising daredevilry...
 ..of course, it's not too surprising when you consider his role models...

Yes, all in all, yet another great summer in Pater's beautiful garden for the Avocado Juniors...
