Mater: Happy Birthday to ya, Happy Birthday

My babies are a year older. Mater is not going to get all maudlin (at least not without a glass of white wine) but as we travel down the passage of time...no, stop, that's the kind of thing Pater drivels on about and Mater refuses to do anything but celebrate as you, AJ1 and AJ2, reach milestones. AJ1, at three years old you are turning into a beautiful young lady, with humour and charm in equal measure and Mater could not be prouder of the way you approach everything with a Can-Do attitude. AJ2, as you hit your first year, your cute rolls of fat, smiley face and attempts at climbing and crawling fill me with love and a desire to smoosh you and, on occasion, eat parts of your legs, arms and bum. So let's bring out the cake, light up the candles, put on the pointy hats and CELEBRATE.
